SOPCA Membership is open to all families and individuals residing within the region of Peel who identify with the Tamil culture either as a heritage, language of choice or affiliation as a result of family links. This means that all who enjoy exploring Tamil culture, its history and beauty, its ancient language and community are welcome to join SOPCA. Membership is for all over the age of 18 years. Children under the age of 18 years come within the Family category as long as the parents or guardians are members. SOPCA has been created to embrace all faiths, beliefs and orientation such that it celebrates the diversity of the Tamil heritage and culture and all those who explore it. SOPCA focuses on crating opportunity of each and every member to live life to the fullest! The membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st. Every member over the age of 18 provided their membership dues are in good standing will have one vote at the annual AGM.
